Dentistry & Surgery

Dentistry – Oral health is an important component of your pet’s overall health. We educate clients on ways to provide good home dental care. We offer in hospital dental care such as teeth cleaning, tooth extractions and treatment of periodontal disease and tooth root abscesses. We provide dental radiographs prior to beginning your pet's dental procedure in order to determine which teeth are healthy and which teeth need to be removed. We also provide dental care for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and chinchillas in addition to beak and shell repair for birds and turtles.

Surgery - We routinely perform surgery but do not take a routine approach. Each patient receives a thorough examination.  We then use the safest anesthetic protocols and each patient is monitored closely by a veterinary technician.  We also utilize laser and radio-surgery to enhance our surgical capabilities.  Your pet’s comfort is our priority and we follow a comprehensive pain management program. Cold laser therapy is provided after your pet's surgical procedure in order to promote healing, decreasing pain and inflammation. Because the patient comes first, we will perform emergency surgery as the need arises. For more advanced surgical procedures we work with our network of board certified surgeons to make sure your pet receives the best in surgical care.
